A.G.E.s
A root cause of aging.
A.G.E.s (advanced glycation end-products) are compounds in the body that have been shown to be a primary cause of aging, meaning that the older we get, the more A.G.E.s accumulate in our body tissues.

A.G.E.s are made out of two primary ingredients: sugar and protein. Excess sugar molecules will fuse with protein peptides to form A.G.E.s. Excess A.G.E.s will cause healthy cells, tissues, organs and system to slowly decay. The result is premature aging, which affects our appearance as well as the overall function of the organs and systems in our bodies. A.G.Es age our bodies prematurely from the inside out.

A.G.E.s form naturally in the body when we eat sugary or processed foods. Our hormones have a big role in A.G.E. formation too, as well as our activity levels. Manage AGEs by eating right, exercising, reducing harmful stress and getting plenty of sleep.

Increased A.G.E. awareness is changing lives for the better. A.G.E.s have been studied for years, but until now, all of that research was hidden behind stuffy journals and scientific jargon. Now, A.G.E.s are finally hitting the mainstream - in a big way! Huge publications all over the world can't stop talking about glycation, premature aging and A.G.E.s. Exposure of A.G.E.s is at its tipping point, and Morinda is leading the charge.

A.G.E.s AND
The Toast Test
The Formation of A.G.E.s

When a piece of bread is exposed to high heat, it hardens and turns brown. In other words, it turns to toast. When you look at toast, you might see the beginnings of a delicious breakfast, but what you're actually looking at is the formation of A.G.E.s through what's called the Maillard Reaction. Bread contains both sugar and protein. When heat is introduces, the sugar melts and fuses with the protein peptides, and that's when A.G.E.s are formed.
